Basement Additions and Dig-Out Services
|
Basement additions and remodeling are often complex projects, requiring a contractor experienced in both remodeling and structural work, such as Jim Gardner Construction - Structural Contractor. If the existing basement height is to be raised and the foundations are older, generally they will have to be replaced with modern reinforced concrete foundations along with a drainage system which will protect the new space. Often the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems have to be reworked or replaced because they are not appropriate for the new floor plan. A new mechanical room will be created to consolidate the furnace, water heater, and laundry in one location.
